CVS Health plans to close dozens of pharmacies inside Target stores at a time when drugstore chains are struggling to grow retail profits.

CVS will close pharmacies between February and April of this year, a company spokeswoman said. The closures are part of CVS’s efforts to reduce its retail footprint “based on our assessment of changes in population, consumer shopping habits and future health needs,” she said.
