Stocks wavered Wednesday, dampening a November rally that has sent the S&P 500 toward its best month since July 2022.
The S&P 500 edged lower 0.1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 13 points, or less than 0.1%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite fell 0.2%.
