Microsoft Hasn’t Caught Wall Street This Off Guard in a Decade

Microsoft Corp. is one of the most popular stocks on Wall Streetbut even the overwhelmingly positive sentiment surrounding the software giant hasn’t been able to keep up with a rally that’s already topped 50% this year.

On Tuesday alone, Microsoft jumped 6% after providing details on prices for some artificial intelligence services. The advance took the stock to $364.44, 3% above analysts’ average price target of $353.60. That’s the maximum Microsoft has exceeded since 2013, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
