This slight delay, Foran explained, is necessary to ensure a seamless operational integration of the system onto the aircraft. “Early next year, you will see on one of our turbo props that we’re going to have Starlink operating, and also on one of our jets,” he confirmed. “We’ve tested it in some ways, but now to get it actually on the plane and operational is the next step. And from there, we can then assess the rollout.”
