Supermicro CEO Charles Liang also stressed the advantages of liquid cooling, citing its higher power efficiency, lower pollution, and reduced energy costs. He predicts that liquid-cooled systems will become increasingly popular as businesses seek to optimize data center operations and reduce environmental impact.

While liquid cooling promises substantial benefits, its implementation requires careful consideration and planning. As Vertiv’s Albertazzi points out, air cooling will likely continue to play a significant role in data centers, even as more high-density AI facilities adopt liquid-based cooling solutions.

Sustainable Metal Cloud’s Vision and Expansion
