Street Fighter 6 unveils the exhilarating collaboration Fighting Pass to commemorate Monster Hunter’s 20th Anniversary

Monster Hunter and Street Fighter are two of Capcom’s largest franchises of all time, and it looks like they’re about to join forces again.

Capcom just unveiled a Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary collaboration is hitting Street Fighter 6 as the next Fighting Pass.

Although it was teased a few weeks back (and was overshadowed by Akuma’s reveal trailer), they didn’t confirm the collab would be for a Fighting Pass, and now we know for sure.

The trailer gives players a look at the new content coming to the battle pass where the Rathalos armor set will apparently be the main prize for the premium rewards alongside a cute Felyne head.

Other premium rewards include a Monster Hunter UI photo frame, map device wallpaper, titles and stickers for the franchise crossover.

Instead of the usual Street Fighter 5 themes, this pass includes three tracks from Street Fighter 3: Second Impact while the classic game is Magic Sword: Heroic Fantasy from 1990.

These big franchises previously crossed over in Street Fighter 5 for character costumes with Zinogre armor for R. Mika, Kirin armor for Ibuki, Rathalos armor for Ken and Blanka dressed up as Nergigante while the world warriors also jumped realms into Monster Hunter World.

The new Fighting Pass is scheduled to go live very shortly on April 1 once tonight server maintenance is complete.

As per the previous releases, this pass should cost 250 Fighter Coins ($5) for the premium version though a free pass is included too with fewer rewards.
