Germany stocks higher at close of trade; DAX up 0.30% By Investing.com

Investing.com – German stocks were higher after the close on Monday, with gains in , and sectors leading stocks higher.

At the close in Frankfurt, the index gained 0.30%, while the index recorded a rise of 0.27%, and the index recorded a rise of 0.04%.

The best performers of the session on the were Zalando SE (ETR:), which rose 1.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 21.45 at the close. In the meantime, Siemens Energy SA (ETR:) added 1.69% or 0.20 points to end at 12.00 and Merck KGaA (ETR:) was up 1.09% or 1.55 points to 144.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Siemens Healthineers SA (ETR:), which fell 1.09% or 0.58 points to trade at 52.60 at the close. Vonovia SE (ETR:) fell 1.07% or 0.31 points to end at 28.54 and Fresenius SE & Co KGAA ON (ETR:) fell 1.02% or 0.29 points to 28, 07.

The best performances of the MDAX index went to Stroeer SE (ETR:) which rose 3.27% to 53.75, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) up 2.98% to 60.55 and Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which gained 2.50% to close at 25.01.

The worst performing stocks are Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) down 1.38% to 13.20 at the close, Stable (ETR:) which lost 1.28% to settle at 61.70 and Evotec SA ON (ETR:) down 1.07% to 21.28 at close.

The best performers in the TecDAX index went to SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which rose 2.98% to 60.55, ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) up 2.81% to 6.81 and Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which gained 1.84% to close at 24.40.

The least efficient were Morphosis AG ON (ETR:) down 1.99% to 34.00 at close, Nagarro SE (ETR:) which lost 1.52% to 87.45 and Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR:) which was down 1.09% to 52.60 at the close.

Declining stocks were 0-0 higher than rising stocks on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The index, which measures the implied volatility of options on the DAX, rose 0.35% to 13.53.

Gold futures for February delivery fell 0.56%, or 11.70, to $2,071.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for February delivery fell 0.61% or 0.44 to settle at $71.33 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0. .10% or 0.08 to trade at $77.07 per barrel.

EUR/USD was 0.00% unchanged at 1.10, while EUR/GBP was 0.50% unchanged at 0.87.

U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.15% to 101.06.
