Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.02% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Danish stocks were higher after Friday’s close, with gains in , and sectors leading stocks higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the index rose 0.02%, hitting an all-time high.

The best performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE:), which rose 1.34% or 160.00 points to trade at 12,140.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE:) added 1.27% or 150.00 points to end at 11,980.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) rose 0.67% or 0.70 points to 105.20 at the end of the session.

The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 0.98% or 1.70 points to trade at 171.80 at the close. Carlsberg A/SB (CSE:) fell 0.52% or 4.40 points to end at 846.80 and Oersted AS (CSE:) was down 0.43% or 1.60 points to 374.30.

On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks 76 times, with 20 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery rose 0.59% or 0.42 to $72.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for March delivery rose 0.61% or 0.47 to $77.62 a barrel, while February gold futures fell by 0.45% or 9.45 to trade at $2,074.05 per troy ounce.

USD/DKK is up 0.07% at 6.74, while EUR/DKK is flat 0.01% at 7.45.

U.S. dollar index futures rose 0.01% to 100.92.
