↘️Yum China (YUMC): U.S.-listed shares of the fastfood chain, which operated KFC and Pizza Hut outlets in China, tumbled in premarket trading after the company warned of softening consumer demand. Its Hong Kong-listed shares fell to their lowest close in a year.
↗️Toyota Motor (TM, JP: 7203): Its Tokyo-listed stock rose 4.7% after the automaker said its earnings were bolstered by a weak yen and strong sales of hybrid vehicles in North America and Japan. Toyota’s American depositary receipts also rose.
↘️AMD (AMD): The computer chip maker’s shares fell 2.6% premarket after it said fourth-quarter sales could be less than expected, but that its AI chip business was ramping up.
