SolidRun Bedrock R7000: New fanless mini-PCs introduced with AMD Ryzen 7 7840U and Ryzen 7 7840HS options

SolidRun has announced the Bedrock R7000, a series of fanless PCs designed around AMD Zen 4 (Phoenix) APUs. According to the company, it has designed two sizes, one to accommodate a Ryzen 7 7840U and another for the Ryzen 7 7840HS on account of the latter’s higher TDP. Specifically, the former sits within a 160 x 130 x 45 mm chassis, while the latter has a slightly thicker 160 x 130 x 73 mm housing.

Additionally, SolidRun supports Ryzen 7 7840HS versions with improved cooling, while all models feature stacked heat pipes and have liquid metal applied between their APUs and heatsinks. As their designs imply, the Bedrock R7000 series is designed for industrial use, with SolidRun including support for three Halio-8 AI accelerators via M.2 2280 slots. Alternatively, these can be used for PCIe Gen4 drives.

Also, the company has included dual SO-DIMM slots for up to 64 GB of RAM, as well as various I/O. Namely, the Bedrock R7000 has DisplayPort 2.1, mini DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports, as well as twin 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and support for 4G/5G modems. Please see SolidRun’s website for more details and a quote for a Bedrock R7000 system.
