Apple Inc. Infringed patents essential for the communications technology used in iPhones, a UK appeal court has ruled.
The two patents in question relate to a crucial technology used in 4G mobiles. The Court of Appeal accepted a decision from March 2022 decisionwho stated that the two patents held by Optis Cellular Technology LLC were essential and were infringed by Apple.
